havearide: (via Una Bella Vita A Beautiful Life: love this so much.) i really hate things like this but i like this because it friggin pisses me off that every girl expects to be treated like a princess all the time - NO your life is not and will never be a disney movie because NO ONE’S LIFE IS ACTUALLY LIKE THAT and NO you do not deserve to never be called out on your bullshit because yes you act like a raging bitch sometimes and no, you don’t want someone who will just take that because what the shit kind of relationship is that? it’s not one. if you act like a huge bitch for no reason, you probably at some level know you’re being a bitch and are maybe even hoping that he will say something. and if he doesn’t, he loses some respect. so stop acting like there should be a boy out there who will put you on some pedestal and act like you’re never wrong and he agrees with everything you say, because a) that boy doesn’t exist and b) if he did, your relationship would be superficial and unsatisfying. you deserve someone who will treat you with respect, yes. but part of respect means not lying just to placate someone. it means saying what you mean even if it might not be what someone wants to hear. so stop thinking that the “perfect guy” will never ever say the wrong thing and will always want to be around you even when you’re absolutely ridiculous. you will never ever find what you’re looking for and instead will just probably act like a slut while you’re waiting for a man that doesn’t exist and telling yourself that it’s okay that you’re doing shitty things to people who try to get into your life because they’re not perfect and you deserve better. not how it works. thank you.
