People with eating disorders are people, too, and - shock of the fucking year - making patronizing body related comments isn’t appropriate or pleasant for us to endure, regardless of whether or not the comments are actually ABOUT us. Is that model thin? Oh, yes. She certainly is (I mean, it’s probably photoshopped, but STILL). That doesn’t mean ANYONE has the right to talk shit about her eating habits or her body without the knowledge ABOUT those eating habits or body and doing so is just IGNORANT and demeaning. By making degrading comments about people with appearances such as these, we only further perpetuate the idea that it’s a-oh-fucking-kay to talk shit about other women’s bodies - whether they’re thin, overweight, obese, or what have you. Talking shit about someone for being skinny is just as bad as talking shit about someone for being overweight. You’re doing no one a fucking favor by posting your bullshit commentary on Facebook, so spare the world your emotional ineptness and get the fuck out.
